How to set up a digital wallet with MetaMask
This guide will walk you through the process of setting up a digital wallet. With digital wallets, you can use Checkout and various Web3 services that require you to have one. Follow the steps below to get a digital wallet set up for use.

When you first launch the app, you will be presented with the screen below where you can “Create a New Wallet” or "Import an existing one". For this guide, we will select Create a New Wallet.
On the page, you need to create a password for your MetaMask wallet.
Firstly, create a password and enter it in the “New password” field.
Keep in mind that your password needs to contain a minimum of 8 characters.
Next, re-enter your password in the “Confirm password” field.
Then, your need to read and agree to the Terms of Use.
Lastly, click on “**Create**” to create a password.
Make sure to take note of your recovery (seed) phrase. The importance of this step cannot be overstated. Your recovery phrase are the keys to your crypto wallet, so make sure to keep them in a safe place as bad actors who gain access to your recovery phrase can gain control over the wallet's assets. Tap Continue to proceed.
If you backed up your recovery phrase, this will be a breeze. Select the words according to their order in the recovery phrase you just wrote down to complete the verification process. Click Complete Backup when you are finished.
After going through the verification process, you will be redirected to the main wallet screen, you can start funding right away!
